Florida State Seminoles Come From Behind To Beat Louisville Cardinals 42-31

With #2 ranked Florida State starting the game as the favorite to win their
match-up against the Louisville Cardinals in Kentucky (away game), you would have never thought that they would've been losing 21-7 at halftime which is exactly what happened. Turnovers really hurt the Seminoles in the second quarter when Jameis Winston threw 2 interceptions within 3 minutes of each other and the Cardinals were able to capitalize on them. Winston lost his first interception to linebacker James Burgess, and the second one to safety Gerod Holliman. Despite the turnovers though Winston had a good game if you look at the stats. He went 25 for 48 in pass completions with a total of 401 yards, 3 TD's, and 3 Interceptions.

Florida State was able to run the ball as well with Dalvin Cook rushing 9 times for a total of 110 yards and 2 TD's, while FSU's other contributing running back Karlos Williams finished the game with 16 carries for 72 yards.

Jameis Winston did a good job spreading the football around too. He connected with 8 different receivers for those 401 yards that I mentioned earlier, along with 3 TD's. The two receivers that had the most receiving yards were Travis Rudolph and Nick O'leary who both had 76 yards each.

I'm not sure what coach Fisher said to the team during the halftime break but Florida State kicked it into high gear for the 2nd half of the game. The Seminoles came out and scored 14 points in the 3rd quarter, and then turned around and scored 21 points in the 4th quarter.

I must say though, this Florida State team is proving to be relentless when it comes to overcoming tough situations. Just when you think they're going to lose the game they just keep fighting and some how they manage to win the game. With only four games left in the season we'll see if the Florida State Seminoles can keep their undefeated record and play for the BCS championship once again.

Pittsburgh Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger Launches Aerial Attack On Indianapolis Colts In 51-34 Victory

Ben Roethlisberger
Sunday's NFL matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Indianapolis Colts felt like a high scoring, high energy NCAA college football game. Even with the Steelers wearing those hideous throwback black and yellow striped prison uniforms (just my opinion). The Steelers got off to an early lead and by halftime they were already winning 35-20.

Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, and LeVeon Bell really took it to the colts defense who is ranked 20th in the NFL. The Steelers had a whopping 639 total offensive yards with Roethlisberger contributing 522 of those yards passing. Roethlisberger finished the game with an amazing 6 touchdowns.

LeVeon Bell and LeGarrett Blount kept pounding away too at the colts defensive line for a combined 30 carries, and 113 rushing yards. Although neither scored a touchdown they both made great plays during the game.

As for the receiving end it was non other than Antonio Brown who is having a Killer season this year. Brown had 10 receptions for an astounding 133 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Watching "Big Ben" throw for over 500 yards and 6 TD's was every exciting. But I must say, watching Andrew Luck lead the Indianapolis Colts was just as exciting also.

With this being just his 3rd year in the NFL Andrew Luck has definitely proven he is a top notch quarterback (hey, with a name like luck and a horse shoe for a logo something has to go your way Right)? Luck threw for 400 yards and 3 touchdowns. At one point during the game the commentators said that it looked like an "aerial attack" the way the two quarterbacks were going back and forth. However, the Colts rushing game did suffer today with only 63 total yards and 1 touchdown.

Overall I'd have to say it was great watching the two QB's going back and forth in this high scoring game that kept you wondering if the Colts where going to be able to come back and seal the win. But in the end the Pittsburgh Steelers proved to be too much for the colts to handle with a final score of 51-34.

Notre Dame Beats FSU But Then Loses On A Penalty

Notre Dame QB Everett Golson
I must say this was one of the best NCAA college football games that I've seen this year. #2 ranked Florida State Seminoles vs. #5 ranked Notre Dame's Fighting Irish. Going into the game Florida state was a whopping 9.5 point favorite on their home field, so those that went with Notre Dame are happy campers right about now with the final score being 27 to 31 with Florida State winning by only 4 points.

Notre Dame's quarter back Everett Golson had a better night (stat wise) than FSU's Jameis Winston. Golson was 31 of 52 with 313 total passing yards, 3 TD's and 2 interceptions. Throughout the game Golson looked to be very calm, and poised no matter what the situation. At 6.0' 200 LBS he was also very alert, and quick while being able to maneuver himself out of the pocket whenever he felt the pressure coming on strong from FSU's defense.

Notre Dame's running game proved to be dominate over Florida State with 157 rushing yards compared to FSU's 50. The main running back Tarean Folston was Notre Dame's workhorse on the ground with 21 rushing attempts for 120 total yards. That type of performance left him with 5.7 average yards per carry.

I'd have to say that Notre Dame's air attack is what kept them in the game with the Seminoles though. Corey Robinson led the way with 8 receptions for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns. Followed by William Fuller also with 8 receptions and 20 yards less at 79 yards. There were other receivers that contributed like C.J. Prosise and Chris Brown that added to the 313 total passing yards of the Fighting Irish.

With only .17 seconds left on the clock and Notre Dame down by only 4 points Golson connects with Prosise for a touchdown to win the game but a flag was thrown for offensive pass interference and the touchdown call is reversed. The very next play Golson tries to connect with a receiver in the end zone but there is some miss communication and no receiver was there to catch the ball which would've been 6 points because there was no defender there either.

Although Notre Dame lost the game on a penalty I do believe they opened a lot of peoples eyes as to just how good this football team really is and what a great job that head coach Brian Kelly has done with this football team.

Tony Romo & The Dallas Cowboys Looking Good In Playoff Quest

Dallas Cowboys Tickets
The AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas was very loud this Sunday with fan screaming at the top of their lungs for their favorite team. Yep you guessed it, The Dallas Cowboys (America's Team) as they took on their cross town rivals the Houston Texans. The Cowboys were the favorite to win by 5 and boy did they need all 5 too because they won the game in overtime by a field goal from kicker Dan Bailey. Who missed a 53 yard game winning field goal in the 4th quarter with 0.03 seconds left on the clock. That miss sent the game into overtime. Luckily Bailey was able to redeem himself with a 49 yard field goal to win the game.

With the Cowboys now being 4-1 in the NFC East they are tied for 1st place with the Philadelphia Eagles. Tony Romo looked very comfortable and relaxed against the texans. He didn't look like he was under any pressure like he normally does. With DeMarco Murray running the ball exceptionally well (most rushing in the league) and Dez Bryant having a decent season thus far it appears that The "Big D" is starting to come together as a solid playoff team. Whether or not they can keep playing well remains to be seen. But as for now they're looking like strong contenders.

The Cowboys offense stats were solid as well. With the exception of 3 turnovers they had the following: 456 total yards, 316 Pass Yards, 140 Rushing Yards, and 24 First Downs. As for the Defense they only had 1 sack for the day and 1 interception (the defense needs some work).

So my question is this, Can the Dallas Cowboys make the playoffs this year? I think so. Given the fact that they have a VERY good running game and they have a wide receiver by the name of Dez Bryant.

I would love to hear what your thoughts are on the Cowboys going to the playoffs. Leave a comment and tell us what you think.

Katy Perry's Crush on Oklahoma Sooner QB Trevor Knight

Katy Perry appeared on ESPN's Collegegame Day this morning to give her picks (basically just guessing) on today's NCAA college Football match ups wearing a fuzzy pink sweater type jersey with a black number 86 on the front of it. However, she revealed a little more than the viewers thought she would regarding her picks. When asked about the Oklahoma Sooners vs. TCU she was not shy about letting the viewers know that she thought their star QB Trevor Knight was HOT. to add to the statement  she also pretended like she was holding a phone up to her ear and said call me Trevor Knight. Then to take matters a step further she held a sign up in the shape of a heart with Trevor's picture on it. There's only one thing though. Trevor already has a smoking hot girlfriend by the name of Kate Williams. So as for now it looks like Katy Perry will have to move on to her next crush. But I don't think the international mega pop star will have a much of a problem though.

Sebastian Vettel to leave Red Bull Racing

Sebastian Vettel
For the past four years Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull Racing proved to be unstoppable. With great engineering, and excellent driving skills the team looked as though they would beat just about every formula one record there ever was. In winning the championship for the past four years Vettel became the youngest driver in F1 history to win a title. It seemed to be almost a sure thing that he would surpass the legendary Michael Schumacher when it came to the winning the most titles. But then the year 2014 came and things started to go terribly wrong for the young german. First, the car was not as reliable as it had been in previous years. Leaving him with 3 DNF's (did not finish) out of 14 races thus far and Second, he has a new up and coming talented teammate by the name of Daniel Ricciardo. Ricciardo is currently third in the championship title standings, and is fifty seven points ahead of Vettel. With everything going on Sebastian Vettel decided that it was time that he and Red Bull Racing part ways. Vettel stated: " After 15 very enjoyable and successful years with Red Bull, I have decided to leave Red Bull at the end of this year". Following the official announcement Red Bull Immediately named Daniil Kvyat as Vettel's replacement.

Sebastian Vettel has not said what team he plans to drive for next year, but he did say: "about my future plans, there will be an announcement very soon". Now there are rumors that he may end up at Ferrari or possibly McClaren, but that remains to be seen because both Fernando Alonso and his fellow teammate Kimi Raikkonen are still under contract.

Well this year hasn't been all bad for Sebastian, his girlfriend did give birth to a baby girl back in January. So now he gets to experience all the joys of fatherhood with his daughter.

Regardless of what team Sebastian Vettel ends up driving for in 2015, or even if he never wins another race I think with a net worth of 28 million dollars (Celebrity Net Worth) he'll be just fine.

Pittsburgh Pirates Come Up Empty Handed In Wild card Game

After finishing the regular season with a .543 percentage (88-74) The Pittsburgh Pirates go home empty handed after failing to beat the San Francisco Giants in the National League wild card game with a shutout score of 8-0.

The Pirates failed to score a single run during the game which left fans severely dissapointed in their performance. The Pirates only managed to get a total of 4 hits the entire game. One of their star players Andrew McCutchen didn't play that well either. With 1 strikeout, 1 walk, and no stolen bases it appeared that it just wasn't his night.

The San Francisco Giants really took it to the Pirates proving that they wanted it more. Short Stop Brandon Crawford let it be known that he was all about business. At the top of the fourth inning he hit a grand slam homerun which allowed Sandoval, Pence, and Belt to score. which gave the Giants a early 4-0 lead.

Giants Pitcher Madison Bumgarner did a great job too. Pitching all nine innings for the Giants he had a total of 10 Strikeouts.

After some pretty good performances during the regular season it looks like the Pirate fans are going to have to wait til next year to get another chance at the playoffs.
